We finally got the opportunity to dive into this trend with two exciting projects: Aurora by Dimpal, a beauty studio, and a residential space in Teku, Bhotebahal. Aurora by Dimpal - A Japandi-Inspired Beauty Studio
In Aurora by Dimpal, we were given the freedom to craft an ambiance that embodies calm sophistication. This beauty studio required a setting that’s not only visually appealing but also relaxing for clients. We chose a palette of soft, neutral tones, balanced with natural wood textures and minimalist furniture. Soft lighting and carefully placed decor added to the space’s serene atmosphere, while the Japandi theme provided the perfect mix of style and functionality. The outcome was a serene, inviting space that our client absolutely loved—a tranquil retreat for both staff and clients alike.
Japandi Residence in Teku, Bhotebahal
Our next project brought Japandi into a home environment, where we designed the living room, lobby, and kitchen for a residence in Teku, Bhotebahal. Here, we focused on achieving a balance between cozy and minimal, with a natural color palette, sleek furniture, and uncluttered layouts. By incorporating Japandi’s emphasis on organic materials, we created spaces that feel grounded, warm, and welcoming. From the airy layout of the living room to the sleek, functional kitchen, each area resonated with calm simplicity.
